Tried cleaning the hood vents with a pressure washer and it went sideways
We were closing for a day for a deep clean, and I thought using a small electric pressure washer on the grease filters would save time. It just forced grease and grime deeper into the mesh and created a bigger mess to scrub out by hand. Anyone have a better method for those really caked-on filters?
Totally agree on the degreaser soak. That high pressure just packs the grime deeper into the pores. A soft brush after the soak gets the last bits off without the mess.
