Walk-in cooler fan died mid-service on a Friday night in Denver

I was about 45 minutes into prepping for a Saturday brunch rush when the condenser fan just seized up with a horrible screech. Meat temp was already climbing past 45 degrees and I had no backup unit. Spent the next 2 hours running extension cords to a portable AC unit and stacking ice packs around the racks. Has anyone else had to MacGyver a cooler repair during service hours?

Yeah I've done the box fan and dry ice trick... worked just long enough to get through service.

Duct tape a shop fan to that thing and call it a night.

I read somewhere that those box fans can move like 2000 cubic feet of air per minute if you seal the edges right. Might be worth a shot before dropping cash on a real solution.
