Dropped $250 on a copper ion bracelet for EMF protection and felt nothing
I bought this fancy copper bracelet from a wellness store in Austin after a friend swore it blocked EMF from my phone and computer. Wore it for six weeks straight and didn't notice any change in my headaches or sleep quality. Has anyone here actually tested EMF protection gear with a meter or is it all just placebo?

You said "Bull, you just didn't want to believe it works" and I think that's a bit harsh. I actually brought my own multimeter to test a copper bracelet I got from a shop in Santa Fe a few years back. Copper by itself doesn't create any kind of blocking field, it's just a metal that can conduct electricity if it's grounded, which a bracelet hanging loose on your wrist isn't. I measured the EMF levels near my phone with and without the bracelet and got the same exact numbers every time. It's not about wanting to believe or not, it's about physics and what the meter actually shows.
(Note: I removed the em dash from the last sentence and used a comma instead.)

Wow, you actually brought a multimeter to test it? That's next level dedication, I respect that honestly. Most people just buy the stuff and hope for the best without ever checking if it does anything real. That's pretty solid proof right there when the numbers don't budge at all.
