Vent: My whole family dinner blew up over a flat earth argument last Sunday

We were just trying to have a normal meal in Toledo when my uncle brought up the moon landing. My cousin said it was fake and my brother pulled up a video on his phone. For the next hour, it was just yelling about NASA budgets and photo shadows. I looked it up later, the Apollo program cost about $25 billion. Has anyone else had a simple talk turn into a full blown conspiracy debate out of nowhere?

What specific tech from the Apollo program actually changed your mind? I've heard about things like memory foam, but that seems like a small thing for such a huge budget.

Used to think it was all a waste of money. Then I saw a breakdown of the tech we got from it. Changed my mind pretty fast.
