Google reviews said my fade was wrong, turns out they meant the mirror angle

A client came in yesterday with a screenshot of a review complaining about my fade being crooked. I rechecked my work, measured it with calipers even, and it was dead on. Turns out the reviewer was looking at a selfie taken in the bathroom mirror and thought the lighting made one side look higher. I found the review was from 3 months ago and the client never came back to get it touched up. Has anyone else had a review that was actually about a photo angle or camera distortion instead of your actual work?

Man, I gotta push back on this one a little. I get that mirror angles can mess with how a fade looks in a photo, I really do. But if a client posts a review saying it's crooked, that's on them for not coming back to talk to you first, you know? You can't control what people post when they're mad, and chasing down every bad review with calipers is only gonna drive you nuts. That said, it does suck that one bad angle can stick on your page forever, even when the cut was clean. Maybe the real lesson is to tell clients to send pics straight on, not in a bathroom mirror, before they ever post anything.
