Spent 4 hours trying to fix a peeling gel manicure and it was just my prep
I kept getting lifting on the cuticle area no matter how careful I was. Tried different base coats, changed my lamp, watched a dozen tutorials. Finally a friend watched me work and pointed out I was missing a tiny strip near the sidewall. Now I go over that spot with a fine bit before I even start and it holds for two weeks easy. Anyone else fight with this for way too long before figuring it out?

That "tiny strip" thing is basically life isn't it, the smallest detail ruins everything.

%juliahall you're so right. That tiny strip thing happened to me last week with a set of blinds. One little piece was off by like a quarter inch and the whole thing looked crooked.

Pretty much. One loose thread and the whole sweater unravels.
You line everything up perfect but that one off thing just stares at you.
Sometimes you just gotta live with it or start over.

Respectfully, not every detail is that small - sometimes the real issue is going too fast or not being patient enough with the prep, not a secret spot you missed.
