That one Tuesday at Shear Bliss turned into a total nightmare
I worked a double shift last Tuesday at Shear Bliss salon on Main Street and had 7 clients back to back. Three of them wanted complicated balayage touch-ups that should have been booked separately. By the 5th client I realized I hadn't eaten in 8 hours and my hands were shaking while doing a blowout. Anyone else ever have a day where the booking system lets people pile on services that throw off your whole schedule?

Did the salon owner actually back you up when that client piled on the extra balayage work, or did they just let the booking system run wild without any limits? Seems like management should be catching that before it hits your chair and turns your whole shift upside down. Would love to know if you got any support from the front desk or if they just kept adding more stuff without warning you. That kind of schedule chaos usually comes from owners who don't want to say no to anyone.

Blocking off 15 mins between clients for a protein bar and water saved my sanity on days like that. Learned the hard way that a full stomach makes a huge difference.
