That moment you realize your tagline is 6 feet off on a blind lift

Last month I had a job in downtown Austin moving HVAC units on a roof, and my spotter kept giving me the wrong signals because he couldn't see the load from his angle. I ended up having to ask the foreman for a second spotter, and we got it sorted in 20 minutes, but it taught me to always check sight lines before the hook leaves the ground. Anyone else run into a spotter who couldn't see what he was signaling about?

Man that sounds like a real headache... spotters who can't see the load are just asking for trouble. Glad you got it sorted before anything bad happened.
