Can we talk about the worst writing week I've ever had?
My laptop died on a Tuesday, losing a 5,000 word draft, and then my cat walked across the keyboard and corrupted the only backup file. Has anyone else had a cascade of disasters kill a project?

Feel your pain, that is some impressively bad luck. Your cat basically performed a targeted digital strike on your work. I once spilled a full cup of coffee into a desktop tower, which fried the hard drive and also the backup drive plugged into it, so I get the cascade failure. It's like the universe picks a week to personally hate your creative projects.
