Had a weirdly good coupon stacking day at Kroger last Tuesday
I usually never bother with coupons because it feels like too much work. But last Tuesday I had an hour to kill before picking up my kid, so I sat down and clipped like 15 digital coupons on the app. Turns out I had a $5 off $50 store coupon that stacked with a manufacturer one for pasta sauce. My total went from $62 down to $41. I felt like I won a small lottery. Has anyone else had a surprisingly good single shopping trip like that recently?

I once drove across town because a different Kroger was running a double coupon day and I swear I saved like $30 on cereal and laundry detergent. Felt like a queen walking out with four bags for half price.

Ngl I just can't justify spending that much gas to save on cereal.

Driving across town just to save on cereal kinda misses the point when you factor in gas and your time. A dollar or two off per box isn't worth sitting in traffic for 20 minutes each way. Sure you saved on detergent, but you probably burned through that savings on the drive alone.
