Swapped injectors on a 6.0 Ford this morning and it actually ran right the first time

Been chasing a misfire for two weeks on a 2005 F-350. Finally broke down and checked the FICM voltage, found it was dropping low under load, so I swapped it out before doing the injectors. Has anyone else had a bad FICM mimic a stuck injector?

You sure it was the FICM and not just a coincidence? Ive seen low voltage cause all kinds of weird stuff on these 6.0s but a legit stuck injector usually shows up in a contribution test or balance rates. I had one where the FICM was putting out 40 volts cold and dropping to 36 under load, it made the truck run rough but not like a dead miss on one cylinder. You probably had two different problems going at once. The injector swap fixed one thing and the new FICM fixed the other.

42 volts cold was my magic number, @the_sean, but you changed my mind on that one.
