Blew $120 on a drawing tablet that just sits in my drawer now

Last month I grabbed a cheap no name drawing tablet off Amazon because I wanted to get into digital art. The thing had this weird lag where my lines would jump all over the screen every 5 seconds. After 3 days of fighting with drivers and calibration, I gave up and put it back in the box. Has anyone else wasted money on a budget tablet that just wasn't worth the hassle?

$120? Man that's rough but I would have been furious at the line jumping thing. I bought a used Wacom Intuos for $80 off Facebook Marketplace a couple years back and it worked perfect right out of the box. No driver drama at all. But that cheap tablet experience sounds like a nightmare with the lag and all that calibrating. Did the seller at least let you return it or were you stuck with the whole thing?

Did you actually check if the seller even accepted returns?

$120 for a tablet that turns your lines into a Jackson Pollock painting every five seconds sounds like a deal on a modern art generator. I'd keep it just to show friends the "wobbly line glitch" feature, maybe call it the 'Abstract Art Accelerator 3000'. The driver calibration dance alone should count as a cardio workout. Honestly, you might've gotten more use out of a $20 sketchbook and a pack of mechanical pencils. At least those don't need a reboot every time you sneeze.
