Booked a month in a co-living space that ended up being a scam

Paid upfront for what looked like a great setup online. When I got there, the place was barely furnished and the wifi didn't work. Now I'm stuck arguing with their support team for a refund.

Okay but is this REALLY worth all the stress? I've seen worse setups that people just deal with for a month. Barely furnished and bad wifi sounds annoying but not exactly a life-changing disaster. You can probably find a cafe for internet and make do with what's there. Sometimes you just have to roll with the punches instead of fighting for every penny back.

When I rented a place in Denver last summer, it had only a mattress and a folding chair. The wifi was so slow that loading a single webpage took minutes. I ended up buying a cheap router and using my phone's data plan, which worked okay for basic stuff. @abby_robinson58, you're right that cafes can help, but who wants to live in a cafe for a month? Sometimes rolling with the punches means finding a fix, not just putting up with it.

Trying to work from home on cafe wifi for a whole month is a real hassle though. It goes beyond just being a small annoyance.
