That one Tuesday in Chiang Mai where everything clicked
I still think about this one random Tuesday about 18 months ago when I was in Chiang Mai. I had been bouncing between cafes all morning trying to find stable WiFi (which is harder than you'd think in the old city). Around noon I stumbled into this little spot near the Tha Phae Gate, ordered a $2 iced coffee, and suddenly got into this crazy productive flow. I banged out three client articles, a newsletter draft, and even recorded a voice memo for a podcast pitch all before 4pm. What made it weird was that nothing special had happened - no new tool or routine or anything. Just the right combo of quiet AC, a decent chair, and my brain deciding to cooperate for once. Has anyone else had one of those random golden days that you can't seem to recreate on purpose?

That exact spot by Tha Phae Gate in the afternoon is legit magic, I swear. Was it one of those places with the big wooden fans and like 50 different houseplants?

Oh yeah, "50 different houseplants" is spot on. I sat at one of those spots and legit felt like I was in a jungle cafe, there were ferns hanging everywhere and this giant monstera right by my table. The big wooden fans creaking overhead just added to that whole lazy afternoon vibe, I didn't want to leave.
