Hot take: I dropped $200 on a cheap tile saw for a bathroom floor and it was a total waste.
The blade wobbled so much it chipped half my tiles. What's a decent saw under $400 that actually cuts straight?

Honestly, cheap tile saws are a gamble. That wobble ruins more projects than they're worth. For under $400, you need to look at a basic MK or Ridgid model. They have solid rails and decent motors that actually hold a line. Spending a little more upfront saves all that wasted tile and frustration.

Nah, you just got a bad one... they're usually fine.

The wobble is a design flaw, not a random defect. It comes from cheap bearings and thin rails that can't stay true. Calling it a bad unit just excuses the poor build quality.
