Shoutout to the guy who laminated his workbench with cheap Formica
Talked to a retired carpenter at the lumber yard last Saturday. He said he put a $30 sheet of Formica on a 20 year old plywood bench. Barely any glue, just contact cement and a roller. Been 8 years and it still looks like day one. Anyone else try laminate on a budget workbench or just me?

Hold up, aluminum sheet too? That's next level. Can't believe he's still using the same bench after 8 years with just contact cement holding it together.
