I keep seeing drafters use the wrong line weights for floor plans
Was reviewing a set from a junior guy last week and every wall was the same 0.35mm line - how are you supposed to tell a bearing wall from a partition? Has anyone else noticed new drafters ignoring line weight hierarchy or am I just old school?

Same 0.35mm line" is exactly the problem. I've seen that exact thing too. If you can't tell the difference between a wall and a cabinet at a glance, the drawing is basically useless.

Hold on, you're telling me people are actually out here using the exact same line weight for walls AND cabinets? That's wild to me, @mason_foster68. Honestly, at that point you might as well just sketch it on a napkin with a crayon. Tbh, the whole point of different line weights is so your eye can instantly read the space without having to squint for five minutes trying to figure out what's structural and what's just a box. Ngl, that would drive me absolutely crazy on a set.
