Finally caved on LED face masks after laughing at them for 2 years

I used to roll my eyes every time a client talked about those at-home LED masks, figured they were just expensive party lights. Then last month I borrowed my sister's Dr. Dennis Gross mask for a week after a breakout and my texture actually calmed down in 3 days flat. Has anyone else had a stubborn opinion change after actually trying a tool you swore was hype?

Wore one of those cheap knockoff ones from Amazon for a week just to prove it was all placebo... now I'm shopping for the real deal like a clown. My wife won't let me live it down, keeps asking if I want to borrow her cucumber slices too. It's honestly embarrassing how fast I went from skeptic to believer, like catching yourself singing along to a pop song you swore you hated. The LEDs aren't even bright enough to do anything dramatic but something about the red light just... works. Still think they look ridiculous though, like a sci-fi villain's training mask.

The cheap knockoff from Amazon lasted a whole week without catching fire? Man, you got lucky. I tried one of those and the strap broke on day two, plus the light flickered so bad I thought I was having a stroke. But I feel you on the embarrassed about it part. I secretly wear mine after my wife goes to bed because I don't want her to see me looking like a rejected Power Rangers villain. The worst part is I actually think my skin looks less angry in the mornings now, so I'm stuck with the routine.

Wear that thing proud man, if it works it works. The real shame is spending good money on a fancy one and still looking like a dork.
