We were talking about her 2008 trench coat, and she pointed out every stitch... it made me question every fast-fashion sketch in my portfolio. Anyone else feel pressure to design for durability over trends?

Your sister's got a point. My own closet is full of cheap stuff that falls apart after a season. Seeing a coat from 2008 still going strong would make me rethink everything too. That's real design, not just making the next trend.

That coat's age is the whole point. Vintage pieces have a story that fast fashion can't copy. It's cool to see someone wearing real history.
