I had to choose between a fitted bodice or a draped one for my spring collection

For my upcoming show in Atlanta, I was stuck between a structured, boned bodice and a soft, draped silk design. I went with the draped silk because I felt it fit the 'soft power' theme better, and honestly, it was faster to produce. The final piece, a dress called 'Savannah Mist', turned out way more popular with buyers than I expected. Has anyone else had a similar choice between structure and flow for a specific project?

Oh, good call. I see that everywhere now, not just in clothes. People seem to be picking soft, comfy, and easy over stiff and formal in so many things, from furniture to how we work.

Yeah, it's like we all decided to become professional couch potatoes. Next thing you know, job interviews will be conducted in sweatpants and they'll judge you on your blanket fort building skills. The future is fluffy.

Read an article last week about a company in Sweden that banned hard chairs. Everyone gets those big squishy armchairs or beanbags now. It said productivity went up because people were more relaxed. That's the whole vibe now, making everything feel like a cozy corner of your own home. The line between work life and home life is totally blurring into one soft, padded zone. Honestly, if my boss asked about my blanket fort skills, I'd probably get a promotion.
