I thought the whole 'pocket dress' thing was just a weird gimmick

Then I saw a friend's design at a small show in Austin that had these deep, hidden pockets that actually held a phone and keys without ruining the line. Totally changed my mind about function over form. Anyone have tips for integrating pockets without adding bulk?

My friend said it's silk chiffon, tessa_hart18, but I feel you on how tricky that fabric can be to work with.
