Vent: That $60 laser level I was sure would be junk actually saved my butt

Ngl, I bought a cheap laser level from Amazon figuring I'd return it in a week. But I used it on a 800 sq ft LVP install last Tuesday and it was dead accurate for the whole job, even after I dropped it twice. Has anyone else had a budget tool that actually held up way longer than you expected?

Wait, you dropped it twice and it still worked after that? That's wild for a $60 tool...

Did you drop it on concrete or carpet? Concrete would've definitely killed most cheap tools. I've had $40+ tape measures crack open after one drop on a slab, let alone survive two
