Finding those perfect rust-colored chrysanthemums in spring was a real test
I had an order for a vintage-themed party that needed those specific mums, but they're out of season. It took three weeks of emails and calls to greenhouses across the country to locate a batch. When they finally arrived, the color was just right, and the client was thrilled. Makes you think about how much quiet hunting goes into this job, you know?

Sounds like a lot of hassle for some flowers. Clients won't even notice if the shade is slightly off, and you could have used in-season options instead. Sometimes chasing perfection just wastes everyone's time.

Tell me about it, I once drove two hours for the "wrong shade of beige" moving blankets.

Honestly, I used to share that exact view. I'd sub things out all the time figuring no one would know the difference. Then I had a bride spot her "blush" roses were actually a straight light pink from ten feet away. The look on her face, it wasn't about being picky. It was her one thing. Now I get that hunt. It's not about the flower, it's about delivering the one detail someone pictured.
