Wasted $80 on those fancy foam bricks that claim to hold water for days

Bought a case of those Oasis foam alternatives that are supposed to be eco-friendly and they just crumbled into mush after 12 hours in my shop. Lost a whole wedding order of hydrangeas that wilted before the ceremony. Has anyone found a reliable substitute that actually works?

Oh man, that's brutal. I feel your pain on those crumbly bricks, they're worthless.

Yeah I was totally that person who thought the expensive ones had to be better... you know, the whole "you get what you pay for" thing. But after killing so many projects with those fancy crumbling bricks I finally gave the cheap ones a shot and honestly? Night and day difference. My stuff stays put way longer now and I'm not sweeping up green dust every time I walk by. Kinda embarrassing how long it took me to switch honestly.

Tried the cheap green floral foam bricks from the dollar store and they held up fine for three days straight with no crumbling. Sometimes the simple stuff works better than the fancy eco claims.
