Just realized people keep mixing up the 1995 show 'Space Precinct' with 'Space: Above and Beyond'

I see this all the time in old sci-fi forums, but they're totally different! 'Space Precinct' was a Gerry Anderson puppet/live-action cop show from the UK, while 'Space: Above and Beyond' was a serious US military drama about fighter pilots. It matters because 'Space Precinct' had this weird charm with aliens like Officer Brogan, but everyone forgets it. Which one do you think deserves more love today?

Space Precinct had way more heart. The puppet stuff gave it a unique vibe that's totally missing now.

Remember when I thought the puppets were just a gimmick? Seeing them again made me realize they gave the show its soul.

Space: Above and Beyond holds up better with its real stakes and characters. The puppet show is just a silly relic.
