Fridge full of random stuff, but I can't decide between a soup or a stir fry
I've got half a cabbage, a carrot, some leftover chicken, and a nearly empty jar of peanut butter staring at me. Part of me wants to make a quick peanut noodle stir fry, but the other part thinks a simple chicken and veggie soup would be better for this rainy day. What would you guys make with this kind of mix?

Honestly, "better for this rainy day" is doing a lot of work here. It's just dinner. Flip a coin. The stir fry is faster and you can use that peanut butter (which is a weird flex, by the way). The soup will take longer but you can zone out while it cooks. Either way you're just turning the same chicken and veggies into a meal, so it's not a life-changing choice.

Agree with Diana that the rainy day vibe is the real decider here. That peanut butter could make a killer sauce for the stir fry (just thin it with soy sauce and a little hot water). But if you're feeling lazy, dump everything in a pot with broth and let it simmer while you watch something.

Why would you combine two perfectly good meals into one sloppy pot when you could enjoy them separately on different nights?
