I think the whole 'clean fridge' trend on here misses the point. My local co-op in Asheville has a community board for leftover swaps and it's way more useful.

Oh, that's a cool idea! But I read the original post as saying the clean fridge trend misses the point of the forum, not that the swap board isn't useful. The trend here is about showing off your organized fridge, which is different from a food sharing project.
