Pro tip: I used to think phone camera reviews were pointless

A friend in Chicago said my vacation photos looked flat and asked what phone I used, which made me realize I never checked camera settings before buying. Now I always look for sample photos taken in low light, not just the megapixel count. What's the ONE camera feature you check first in a review?

Check how the phone handles moving subjects, like kids or pets. Everyone tests still objects, but real life has motion. If a review doesn't show a blurry dog test, it's not telling the full story.

But what about people who just don't take pictures of moving things that often? My phone photos are mostly of objects, food, and landscapes. A blurry pet test is useless for me if the still shots are perfect.
