Wondering if that trick works on tempered glass or just the old wavy stuff. Tempered glass shatters if you try to cut it normally. Would be a game changer for fixing old shower doors if his method gets around that.

Know exactly what you mean about tempered glass. I tried to cut a small piece from a broken oven door once and it just exploded into a million little cubes. It would be amazing if there was a safe way to work with it. Honestly, I doubt any home method gets around that built in tension. You might be better off just getting a new panel cut from regular glass if the frame is still good.
