Heard a guy at a truck stop say his GPS showed him driving through a cornfield that wasn't there
He was dead serious, said his screen had him on a road through a field that was just flat dirt in real life. It made me wonder how often our tech shows us a slightly different world. Has anyone else had a GPS glitch that felt too real?

Nah, more like a total mapping error.

My old TomTom tried to send me down a washed-out fire road in the Adirondacks last year. The map data was at least a decade out of date. It's scary how long some of these apps go without a proper update.
