My car keys vanished from my kitchen counter for two hours straight

I set them down right next to the fruit bowl at 8 AM before making coffee. Came back from the bathroom and they were just gone. I tore the place apart, checked the couch, my coat, even the fridge. They reappeared exactly where I first put them at 10 AM, no explanation. Has anyone else had an object just disappear and come back like that?

It's wild how consistent this is. My TV remote will be gone for an hour, then it's just back on the coffee table. Same with a specific pen I use for bills. It makes you question your own memory, but it happens too often to just be us. There's a weird, quiet rule that some objects just take little unscheduled breaks.

Oh man, this happens to me at least once a month. I'll swear I put my phone on the charger, then it's just GONE, only to find it sitting in the laundry basket later. My theory is my house has a secret portal for small items. It's either that or I'm just losing my mind, and I'm not sure which is worse.
