inJournaling at night cleared my head more than I expected
Hold on, did you actually try it yourself before deciding it's not a big deal? Because saying it never works feels different from saying it's not important. What makes you think Skyler is overreacting this time?

Nah, I just misplace stuff, like @the_lucas probably does too.

inI used to call a pro for every drip, not anymore
Totally get that feeling of being scared to try. I used to call my landlord for every little thing too, thinking I'd break it worse. Fixing a leaky shower head last month was my wake up call. It's crazy how most of these jobs just need one cheap part and ten minutes of patience. Now I watch a quick video before I even think about picking up the phone.

inMy near-miss with a paint peel taught me to respect the old methods.
Oh man, I know exactly what you mean. I rushed a sanding job once and had the finish fail after a couple days. Now I always do a final hand-pass to be sure, just like you said. Those orbital sanders are fast but they can leave hidden swirls that mess things up later, lol. Taking that extra time by hand really saves you from having to redo the whole thing.
