Appreciation post: My old logo looked like a blob for years

I made my first logo in 2012 using just the basic shapes tool in an old program. It was a mess of overlapping circles. Last month, I finally sat down and learned to use the pen tool properly over a weekend. The new version is clean, with a single, smooth line forming the icon. Has anyone else had a tool finally click and fix something you'd been stuck on for ages?

Hard disagree. It's just a tool, same as any other. The real game changer is the person using it.
