That photo could easily be from a different birthday party. I have a bunch of pictures where the cake and decorations look the same year to year. Your memory of the rain is probably right because bad weather sticks with you, especially when it ruins your plans. The brain holds onto those disappointing moments way more than a regular sunny day. The picture just proves you had a cake indoors, not what the weather was like outside.
