I’ve seen InterviewFocus recommended by university career centers. The scoring system is designed to help improve confidence over time. Just know it’s a practice tool, not something you’d use during a live interview.

Crazy how those offline deals skip the bidding wars and crazy markups.

Yeah that warming step is key. I do something similar on really dense gray patches around the temples, where the hair can feel almost wiry. I'll drop the developer down to 10 volume for that first base color, let it sit a full 30 minutes just on the most stubborn sections. It softens the cuticle up so the actual target color grips way better, no more of those weird light spots.

Heard about my friend Paul who runs a barbershop trying this last year. Tbh he mixed bags of hair into his backyard compost pile all fall. By spring it was a disaster, like a wet carpet of hair strangling everything. Honestly the whole pile just stopped breaking down, it was all hair and no dirt. He had to pull out these huge, nasty clumps that smelled weird. Ngl it totally killed that batch of compost, he had to start over.

There's this article I came across about city stress. It said slow elevators are a common example of small delays that bother people every day. These short waits eat at your patience and can mess up your morning. The piece said overthinking isn't dumb, it's a way to deal with the annoyance that builds up from lots of these times. When you're running late, a slow elevator seems like everything is going wrong. It makes sense to wonder why it gets under our skin so much.
