Remember that adjustment takes a few days though.

Unpopular opinion: Sharing tools with relatives makes sense

But is a buzzing light really that big of a deal? Sometimes a loose wire is just a quick fix, but other times it points to a bigger wiring problem a beginner could miss. What if your niece messed with the wrong thing and caused a short? Or worse, what if that loose connection was a symptom of faulty wiring that could start a fire? Handing over tools feels helpful, but it also passes on the risk if the person doesn't fully know what they're doing. A simple buzz could hide a serious issue.

Just got back from shoeing horses at a dude ranch in New Mexico

Just realized my quick fix for a squeaky floor made things worse

My friend once tried to silence a squeaky fan by spraying oil all over it. The noise stopped for a bit, but then the fan started blowing weird smoky smells. Turns out the oil dripped onto the motor and almost caused a short circuit. It's wild how these quick fixes can backfire just like your door hinge thing. Now he double-checks everything before trying a home fix.

Got caught splitting the bill with exact change, but it saved me $20 for the week!

At Jake's BBQ last month, we spent twenty minutes debating who had what drink. It was so awkward, and honestly, did anyone even care about the three-dollar difference? Being precise can turn a fun night into a math problem. I see the point about budgets, but sometimes it's just not that big a deal. Social stuff has its own cost, you know?
