Shoutout to the dig site where they found ancient water channels

Saw a doc on ancient farms doing the same thing.

Why does nobody talk about the lost art of regluing old chair joints?

Honestly, I get what you're saying about pressed board, but it's not always a lost cause. You can use a two-part epoxy or a special wood glue for particle board, but you have to rough up the surface first. For example, I fixed a shelf by sanding the broken area and using plastic resin glue, and it held for a while. It's just that the material itself is so weak that any fix is temporary compared to solid wood. So yeah, modern stuff is harder to repair, but with some patience, you can sometimes make it work.

Why does nobody talk about the comic book fan mural in my town?

Have you posted pictures of it yourself? Local art like that often flies under the radar online because it's just normal to the people who see it every day. You gotta be the one to share it. Take some good photos and put them on a local subreddit or a fan art page. Tag the right groups. It won't spread if nobody starts it.

I finally stopped stressing over market swings by automating my investments

My old portfolio checking habits would make @amybarnes look chill by comparison (seriously, it was a problem). Auto-investing saved me from my own terrible timing.

Just realized local schools are tossing old computers instead of letting us salvage parts.

Actually disagree, calling it hoarding seems harsh. Those old caps might save a project someday when you can't find the right part. Where do you even draw the line between hoarding and just being prepared?
