I was winching out for what felt like forever and realized my whole recovery kit was just a mess of old straps and a single hook. Came home and built a proper kit with a soft shackle, kinetic rope, and a dedicated bag. What's the one piece of gear you won't hit the trail without now?

Yeah, seriously. A single hook can be all you need for certain lures or presentations. It keeps things simple and can look more natural in the water. Why complicate it if it gets the job done?

Is it really that serious though? A single hook works fine sometimes, but it can also mean more missed fish. It just depends on what you're doing.
