High Desert Concrete Design vs Polished Concrete Company for a main floor remodel?

We're ripping out the nasty old carpet in our main living area and want to go with polished concrete since our house is on a slab anyway. I've narrowed it down to two local options here in ABQ: High Desert Concrete Design and Polished Concrete Company. Has anyone used either of these recently? I want something that looks modern but is mostly zero maintenance since the kids will be running around and spilling stuff.

I actually got quotes from both of them last fall. Polished Concrete Company seemed okay, but their communication was super slow and their quote lacked detail. We ended up going with High Desert Concrete Design and honestly the floor looks incredible. We chose a satin finish. It's insanely durable and super easy to clean, which is exactly what you need with a busy family.

Seconding High Desert! We had them do our living room and kitchen. The eco-friendly aspect sold us since they just utilize the existing concrete slab instead of bringing in a bunch of new materials. They did a really cool custom stain for us. Literally zero maintenance other than running a dust mop over it once in a while.

Polished concrete is definitely the way to go here in NM since almost everything is built on a slab. It actually brightens the room up a lot if you get a glossy finish because it reflects the natural light. Can't speak to Polished Concrete Company, but I have a neighbor who used High Desert for his entire house and he swears by their work. Said the pricing was really cost-effective too compared to laying down new tile or LVP.
