I finally got my old pear tree to bloom this spring

Pruned it carefully last fall. The blooms this year are just amazing.

Feel for you, noah880. My neighbor's maple is practically waving at me while my own yard has a stick that's been thinking about leaves since 2021. Tried moving it twice, still looks like it's waiting for an instruction manual.
