I thought the 'chicken swing' was a silly pet toy until my Rhode Island Reds stopped pecking each other after I hung one up.
I was sure it was a gimmick, but after a week of watching them take turns on the $25 swing from Tractor Supply, the feather pulling in my flock of 8 completely stopped, so has anyone else seen a change in behavior with simple coop additions?

Believe it. Chickens get bored just like anything else. A cheap swing giving them something to do besides fight makes total sense. Might have to try that myself.

My chickens would probably just stare at a swing and judge me for it. They already think I'm the weird one in the coop.

That's so true about boredom leading to trouble! It's like how a simple puzzle toy can totally chill out a hyper dog. I bet @adam_hernandez's chickens would secretly love a swing once they tried it.
