I tried a 15 foot seam on a big commercial job versus my usual 8 foot sections, and the difference was huge.

Yeah, what @gavin_reed said about fewer seams is so true.

Longer runs really do cut down on those annoying seams.

Switching to longer runs was a game changer for me too, totally got rid of that issue.
