Showerthought: Used to start every community project by just jumping in, now I spend 20 minutes mapping out who knows what and it saves us days of backtracking

Does anyone else find that planning ahead like this actually kills the spontaneous energy that made the group fun, or is it just me clinging to the old chaotic way?

Wait 20 minutes of mapping? That seems low. Our group spent like 3 hours on a Trello board for one project and still ended up redoing half the work anyway.
