I used to think the moon landing stuff was all fake, but my brother changed my mind

My brother, who's an engineer, sat me down last week and showed me the specific mirror arrays left on the moon. He explained how observatories on Earth bounce lasers off them to measure the distance, which you can't do with a fake setup. I mean, I always heard the flag waving thing and thought it was proof, but he showed me videos of how it kept moving after they planted it because of inertia in the low gravity. I guess I just never looked into the real science before. Has anyone else had a family member talk them out of a conspiracy theory?

Oh man, that mirror thing is so cool (and honestly way more solid than the flag argument). My cousin, who's really into space stuff, did the same for me with the moon rocks.

Wait, didn't they leave mirrors, not rocks? I thought the reflectors were for laser experiments. That's what makes it such good proof.
