Shoutout to the guy at the Denver UFO conference who showed me the actual FAA audio logs
I was all in on the 'Phoenix Lights' being a secret craft until I heard the calm pilot chatter describing military flares from a training exercise, which flipped my view completely, so has anyone else had a piece of evidence totally dismantle a theory you held for years?

That pilot chatter is interesting, but @the_elizabeth, I still think the truth is way up in the air. Some of those witness reports just don't line up with flares for me.

So you're telling me the truth was on the ground the whole time?

Poking around the transcripts again, I'd say the ground stuff gets tricky with the official accounts. In my experience, the government reports on this stuff are always pointing up or down depending on the weather that day. But look at the witnesses who saw the lights hovering low over the water, right near the coastline. Flares don't sit still like that, they drift and fade. Your mileage may vary, but I keep coming back to the simple fact that nobody on the ground reported a typical flare pattern. Take that for what it's worth.
