Unpopular opinion: I work better without a co-working space membership
Most folks in this scene swear by co-working spots, but I think they're a waste of cash. I used to pay monthly for a fancy one in Lisbon, and it was just a noisy room with overpriced coffee. Last year, I canceled it and started setting up in my rented apartment's common area or local parks. In Prague, I spent a week working from a bench by the river with just my laptop and a notepad. My design projects got done faster because I wasn't distracted by chatter or trying to network. Now I save that money for better gear or extra travel days. It taught me that my focus doesn't need a trendy address, just a calm spot. If you're stuck in a rut, maybe skip the shared desk and try your own setup.

Found my coffee budget doubled hitting cafes for outlets and wifi. Your park bench setup might actually save more than just the membership fee.

Yeah, that cafe tax adds up fast. Lucas_johnson39 is right to be shocked. Have you tried tracking those small buys for a month to see the real damage?
