inTalked to a fire inspector in Phoenix who said he's seeing a lot of cable runs through return air plenums without proper plenum-rated cable.
We had the same issue at a warehouse retrofit in Tempe. The inspector made us pull all the Cat6 and replace it with proper plenum cable, cost us an extra two days. Always check the spec sheet now before any big cable run.

inTried a new loop in the Sawtooths and the trail markers were nonexistent
Haha, after reading umaw69's comment about markers being a suggestion, I feel called out. Last time I was out there, I spent an hour convincing my group I knew the way, only to lead us to a creek that definitely wasn't on the map. We had to double back so many times that my shortcut added like two extra miles to the day. Now I just accept that my sense of direction is about as reliable as those missing trail signs.

inMy late-night online dive finally untangled a messy comic story for me
Man, my buddy Mike went through the same thing with Batman's Knightfall. He kept getting lost in all the breaks between the different books and which villain was where. He was totally ready to give up. Then some guy at our local comic shop just said, "It's just a big story about Batman getting worn down until he breaks." That one simple idea made the whole sprawling mess make sense to him. He looked so relieved, like a weight was lifted.

inTbh, you don't need pricey stuff for deep space pics. My basic camera got the Ring Nebula last night and it's totally valid.
@nancy_ellis, guess we should all just stare at blank sky until we afford Hubble's cousin. My cheap setup shows me more stars than my city lights ever do. Chasing perfect shots sounds like a fast track to forgetting why we looked up in the first place. Those faint details are cool, but they don't make my basic nebula pic any less real. Sometimes the magic is in the trying, not the buying.
