Threw $60 at a drywall lift attachment and it paid for itself in one job

Picked up a panel jack for hanging ceilings from Home Depot last month, figured it was worth a shot. Took about 30 minutes off a 12x12 room that would have had me wrestling sheets with a helper. Anyone else try those lift straps or stick to the old T-bar method?

That $60 investment sounds like a steal honestly. I tried using a helper once on a 10x12 ceiling and we spent more time arguing about which side to lift first than actually getting anything done. My buddy @keithharris said the same thing happened to him but with a full bucket of mud tipping over, what a mess. The panel jack seems way more reliable than wrestling with straps that always seem to slip at the worst moment. I might have to swing by Home Depot this weekend and grab one, especially since my last helper quit after getting drywall dust in his eyes.

That bit about wrestling sheets with a helper is exactly why I went with the cheap harbor freight lift... it's a pain to set up but beats having a guy on the ceiling with drywall dust in his eyes.

Buddy of mine tried that helper trick and ended up with a mouthful of mud after the sheet buckled.
