Serious question, has anyone else tried the vinegar soak versus the baking soda paste for a clogged shower head?

My shower pressure dropped to a trickle last Tuesday. Tried the baking soda paste method first, left it on for an hour. Barely made a dent. Switched to a full overnight soak in a plastic bag filled with white vinegar. Next morning, the crud just wiped right off. The difference was insane. What other mineral deposit fixes have you guys found that actually work?

Is there anything vinegar can't clean? I did the exact same thing with my kitchen sprayer last month. That baking soda paste just made a sticky mess for me too. Honestly, I should just keep a spray bottle of vinegar under every sink at this point.

I used to think it was just for salads, but now I'm a believer.

Yeah, vinegar is the only thing that works for me too. That baking soda paste just turns into a weird crust and makes it worse. I had the same thing happen with my dishwasher spray arm. Soaked it in a bucket of vinegar and all the little holes cleared right up. I don't even bother with the other stuff anymore.
