Vent: JLab vs Anker earbuds - don't waste your money on the cheaper pair
Bought JLab Go Air Pops for $25 after my Anker Soundcore Life P2s died. Figured they were both budget brands. Big mistake. The JLabs cut out constantly when I'm walking my dog near downtown. Pairing takes forever. Sound is muffled like the speakers are stuffed with cotton. My old Ankers lasted 2 years of daily use. The JLabs started glitching on day 3. Anyone else have a budget brand that let them down after a good track record?

25 bucks for earbuds and you're surprised they cut out? I've had cheap ones do that in my pocket walking past a bus stop. Sounds like you just got unlucky with a bad pair more than anything else.

Actually the thing is @phoenix_singh, you're right that price matters but even ten dollar earbuds shouldn't cut out from just walking past a bus stop. I had a pair of those basic Panasonic ones that cost less than that and they worked fine until I dropped them in a puddle. The problem isn't always the price tag, sometimes it's just a flaw in that specific pair you got.

Nahhh man, $25 earbuds are literally the cheapest trash tier you can buy, they're basically disposable. You absolutely get what you pay for with audio gear, cheap drivers are just built to fail.
